About Us
The Wellways Life in Community (LinC) program is a social connection, inclusion and engagement program to support people with mental health challenges, or their close family members, find a place of their own design within their local community. Our volunteers support individuals who experience social isolation and a lack of connection to their community, to begin to engage and connect with their community in ways that are meaningful to them, as we realise the importance of this on recovery and wellbeing.
The LinC Music Workshop is an extension of the LinC program and is a workshop open to everyone in the community, providing a safe and creative space for LinC participants and the wider community to come together and learn and create alongside our volunteer Musicians. The LinC Music Workshop is an inclusive music program designed to promote good mental health in the community and create communities that are more accessible, inclusive and supportive for people living with mental health issues and disabilities. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of skill level – from beginner through to those with more experience.
The LinC Music Workshop runs every Tuesday from 4pm - 5:P30pm. Places are limited, so please contact Amelia at [email protected] or 02 6246 7122 for information on how to register.
