Long day care and occasional care for children aged 0-school age.

Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre is a 62 place Long Day Care Centre for children from birth to school age, divided into 4 rooms across the centre. Families can access full and part time care as well as occasional care.

Ginninderra provides an environment for children that allows them to reach their full potential. We aim to support families in balancing their work and home life by providing care, learning experiences, information, guidance and a sense of belonging. All meals and nappies are provided.

Dance and music programs are also included in the weekly program.

As we are located inside the Belconnen Community Centre children we have the opportunity to attend “Tiny Tumblers”, a structured, self-paced gym program which develops fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination and confidence. It also allows children to explore their independence and take risks in a safe environment.

Additionally children are also offered the opportunity due to our central location to visit the BCS Art Gallery and Theatre, Belconnen Library and participate in local walks to Westfield and John Knight Memorial Park. Our practice aims to reflect the diversity of our community, children, families and educators.

Our educators are focused on embedding the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture into the curriculum.
